The “suprematist men” by Marcelo Cipis revisit the geometric language of the Russian avant-garde from a figure reduced to its essential synthesis: the human head transformed into plane and color. Repeated with slight chromatic variations, this silhouette seems to float on the uniform green background, evoking both the seriality of industrial production and the formal meditation of suprematism. The artist reinterprets some of Malevich's recurring principles – the purity of the circle, the square, and the line - integrating them into his graphic vocabulary and characteristic irony. The result is a paradoxical image: at once impersonal and subjective, rational and sensitive, affirming the persistence of form as a field of invention.
